Spring Gardens Road, Bath
Firefighters rescued a man who is believed to have been stuck on a river bank in Bath for several hours.
Crews were alerted by the police after the man was found on the side of the river below Walcott Street. As he was unable to get to safety, firefighters launched an inflatable rescue raft from Spring Gardens. When crews reached the man he was helped onto the raft before they returned to the launch point.
He was then handed over to the care of paramedics who treated him for cuts and bruises to his head.
