Two rescued after car and van collide at Chew Stoke

Firefighters have rescued two people following a road traffic collision involving a car and a van.

Fire engines from Temple, Bedminster and Chew Magna fire stations were called to the incident which left two people trapped. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free both people who were then taken to hospital.

The police and South Western Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
