Gloucester Road, Horfield
Crews were called to a fire at a two storey terraced property used as a café with residential flats above.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two high pressure hose reels, one jet and a CO2 extinguisher to tackle the fire. A ventilation fan was also used to clear the building of smoke.
The fire has caused structural damage to the building and both floors have suffered heavy smoke damage.
Four crews attended the incident from Southmead, Temple, Patchway and Bedminster.
The fire is believed to have started accidentally in the fuse box on the ground floor before spreading.
