Campervan destroyed by fire

Maurice Road, Montpelier

Crews from Temple fire station were called to a campervan fire in Montpelier.

On arrival, they found the vehicle well alight and two firefighters in breathing apparatus used two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.

A butane cylinder was also removed from the campervan and cooled by firefighters.

A nearby vehicle was damaged by the fire and the cause is thought to be deliberate.
