St Nicholas Street, Bristol
Firefighters have dealt with a fire in the basement of premises used as a bar.
On arrival at the incident crews found smoke coming from the basement of the three storey building.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and using four Co2 extinguishers and one high pressure hose reel they put out the fire.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check for hotspots and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.
The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental after a cigarette was dropped onto the pavement above and fell through a grate into the basement.
Fortunately, as the premises had recently been vacated, no one was hurt.
