Granby Hill, Hotwells, Bristol.
Firefighters have been tackling a fire in a three storey building used as student flats.
On arrival at the scene crews could see smoke issuing from the first and second floors of the property.
Forcing entry into the building, six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus made a thorough search of the premises.
They then tackled the fire using three high pressure hose reels and one jet.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check for hotspots.
Fortunately no one was inside the premises at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
A small number of residents from neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precaution.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
