Contract: Temporary for 12 months
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Salary: Hay 6 (£15,393 - £16,719 pro rated for part time hours)

We are looking for a temporary part time Finance Services Team Manager to provide essential financial advice and information to managers and employees within the Service whilst ensuring that legislative requirements, statutory deadlines, financial regulations and conditions of service are adhered to. The successful candidate will lead the team to deliver an efficient financial reporting and transaction service, including payroll, and ensure that financial policies and processes relating to pension administration are correctly implemented and managed.
To be considered as a candidate you will possess arecognised professional payroll qualification, preferably CIPP qualified, with proven relevant managerial and supervisory experience in a financial/payroll environment within a large organisation. You will be able to demonstrate project management, leadership and problem solving skills, and have advanced experienceof using computerisedpayroll and financial systems. You will be able to operate with probity, and have an understanding of the public sector and its pressures and constraints. Knowledge and experience of Local Government financial procedures and operations would be desirable.
