Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £20,661 - £23,398 per annum (Hay 9 grade)

We have a permanent vacancy for a Stores Manager at our Technical Centre. This is a critical role with responsibility for the purchase, receipt, security and distribution of stores items across the organisation. The post holder will work closely with the procurement and supplies team to ensure value for money and compliance with financial and procurement regulations.
The post holder will be required to ensure appropriate systems are in place to monitor stock levels and prepare reports to ensure items are replenished within the agreed stock holding policies. The delivery of stock across the service must be effectively managed to ensure items are available when required to contribute to the smooth running of the organisation.
The role involves managing a small team to ensure an efficient and effective service. The post holder will also be required to establish good working relationships with suppliers to ensure items are delivered and provided in accordance with the contractual specifications.
The essential requirements for the job are a BTEC national (or equivalent) qualification and relevant experience within a stores environment at managerial level. You must also be computer literate with experience of inputting data and producing reports. You must also possess good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision. Experience of staff management is desirable.
