Less than two weeks until our Big Pride Breakfast in Bristol – and you’re all invited!

We will be celebrating Bristol Pride in style by hosting a Big Pride Breakfast at Temple Fire Station. Taking place this year on Saturday, 13 July, from 08.30-10.30am, local people and visitors can expect a bike-powered juice bar, a complimentary breakfast as well as glitter, face paint and plenty of fun.

Tell us you’re coming

Joined by the NHS, AF&RS will be celebrating at the station and be on hand to answer any questions on working for the emergency services, sharing health and safety advice or simply join you in getting ready for the day ahead.

Open to all, there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy, including fun and games with the Bristol City Robins Foundation, the official charity of Bristol City Football Club. Bristol Mind, the local branch of the national mental health charity, and the LGBTQ+ network of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) will also be in attendance.

After the event, firefighters and staff will join the renowned Bristol Pride Parade alongside the South Western Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) to show our support and celebrate with our communities.

Kyle Rees, Diversity, Inclusion, Cohesion and Equalities Officer at AF&RS, said: “We’d like to invite everyone to our Big Breakfast event at Temple Fire Station to celebrate this year’s Bristol Pride.

“This event provides a great opportunity to welcome and connect with our community. Whether you’d like to find out more about what we do and what’s it like to work for us, chat to us about fire safety or simply join us for the celebrations, we’d love to see you there.”

If you spot us on the day, don’t forget to share your photos with us on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and tag #PoweredbyPride.
