Crews from Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) were called to reports of a fire in Bath at 08:32 on 31 August 2024.
At 08:32, crews from Bath responded to reports of a fire near Bath Spa train station.
On arrival, crews found a fire affecting on old signalling box.
Crews used one high pressure hose reel, two backpack extinguishers and a carbon dioxide extinguisher to put out the fire.
For the safety of the crews, trains were temporarily stopped whilst they tackled the incident.
The cause of the incident is thought to have been accidental ignition.
