Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) is governed by Avon Fire Authority (AFA), which is a Combined Fire Authority, consisting of Elected Members of local councils from across the former Avon area, which includes: Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
