Crews called to maisonette fire

Shepton Walk, Bedminster

Two crews from Bedminster and one crew from Temple were called to a fire in the first floor kitchen of a maisonette within a two storey, semi-detached property.

On arrival crews found that all persons were accounted for and used two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, one high pressure hose reel and one covering jet to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
