Crews called to kitchen fire

Ringwood Crescent, Southmead

Crews from Southmead, Patchway and Temple fire stations were called to a kitchen fire in a residential property.

On arrival, firefighters used two breathing apparatus for safety and one high press hose reel to extinguish the fire.

They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.

The cause is thought to be accidental and crews remained on scene to provide home fire safety advice to neighbouring properties.
