Crews mobilised to fire at entertainment venue

Upper York Street, St Pauls, Bristol

Crews from Temple and Bedminster fire stations were mobilised to reports of a fire at a music venue.

On arrival, firefighters found the fire, which started outside, had spread to the ground floor stairwell.

Firefighters used six breathing apparatus for safety and three high pressure hose reels to put out the fire.

Crews also used three thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the building.

Police were also in attendance.

The cause is thought to be deliberate.
