Crews rescue two casualties

Crews from Temple and Bedminster fire station were mobilised to reports of a fire.

On arrival, firefighters found a fire in a ground floor bedroom within the property.

Crews used four breathing apparatus for safety, and two high pressure hose reels and one 45mm jet to extinguish the fire.

They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.

Two male casualties were rescued from the property and were conveyed to hospital by ambulance crews.

The cause is currently unknown and fire investigation will return in daylight hours. Police were also in attendance.
