Crews called to fire involving Christmas wreath

Kellaway Avenue, Henleaze

We were called at 12:38 to a fire in a home on Kellaway Avenue, Henleaze.

Crews from Southmead and Temple fire station attended the incident and found a fire involving a christmas wreath in the downstairs dining area of the house.  

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire, as well as a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the room.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental ignition.
