Crews mobilised to Bristol flat fire

Crews from Bedminster, Temple and Kingswood were mobilised at 19:01 to reports of a flat fire on Duckmoor Road, Ashton Gate.

On arrival, firefighters found a fire in a flat on the fourth floor.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus for safety and two 45mm jets and one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.

More than half of all fires in the home are caused by cooking accidents.
