Firefighters extinguish flat fire

Lawrence Weston, Bristol.

Crews from Temple, Avonmouth and Bedminster were called to reports of a flat fire.

On arrival, crews found a fire in the first floor of the building.

Firefighters used one high-pressure hose reel and one 45mm covering jet to extinguish the blaze. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to move smoke from the building and two firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety.

No persons were injured during the fire and the cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
