M5 southbound junctions 19 to 20
The driver of a lorry has been rescued by firefighters after a collision on the motorway.
When crews arrived on the scene they found a heavy goods vehicle carrying pallets and wooden flooring on its side. The driver, a man in his 50s, was trapped.
Using hydraulic cutting equipment firefighters were able to get access to the man, and working alongside paramedics he was assisted into an ambulance and taken to hospital.
He was suffering from suspected head and back injuries.
