Davis Lane, Kenn, Clevedon

A barn fire involving around 130 tonnes of hay and straw is being dealt with by firefighters.

The Avon Fire & Rescue Service Control room received more than 10 999 calls to the incident in the early hours of this morning.

When crews arrived on scene they found a barn measuring approximately 120 metres by 80 metres well alight.

At the height of the fire more than 35 firefighters were involved in dealing with the blaze.

The AF&RS High Volume Pump (HVP) is being used to pump water from the Blind Yeo River onto the flames.
