Locking Road, Weston-super-Mare
Four crews from Weston fire station were called to a kitchen fire in a residential property.
On arrival, six firefighters in breathing apparatus used one high-pressure hose reel and two 45mm jets to extinguish the fire.
They also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.
One female casualty suffering with smoke inhalation was rescued prior to the arrival of firefighters.
The cause is thought to be accidental.
