Dog rescued from cliff face

Queens Road, Weston-super-Mare

One crew from Weston fire station were called to two dogs that had become trapped on a cliff face.

On arrival, firefighters found one dog had self-rescued but remained on scene to rescue a second beagle dog.

Firefighters used a thermal imagining camera to locate the pooch and safe working at height to secure it.

When walking dogs near cliffs or water, please keep them on a lead to ensure they are safe and unable to become stuck.
