A woman and her two dogs have escaped from a fire which started in the utility room of a property.
When firefighters arrived they found the woman in her 60s already out of the house and unharmed.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and tackled the fire using a high pressure hose reel.
It’s thought the fire started accidentally after a tumble drier overheated, setting fire to nearby clothing.
The utility room was damaged by fire and smoke.
While at the property firefighters fitted smoke alarms and gave the occupant some fire safety advice.
