Fire at former airfield

Weston Airfield, Locking Moor Road, Locking, Weston-super-Mare 

A fire engine leaving a station in response to an emergency callFirefighters were called to reports of hay bales on fire on the edge of the former Weston Airfield, near the Helicopter Museum.
One pump from Weston Fire Station attended and found around 20 tonnes of hay to be well alight.
Two high-pressure hose reels and one jet were used to bring the blaze under control and to damp down the hay.
The fire is thought to have been deliberately started. Firefighters were at the scene for more than an hour.
