One rescued from car following collision

Clevedon Road, Wraxall

A woman was rescued from her car by firefighters after her vehicle was in collision with a second vehicle.

Four fire engines from Nailsea and Avonmouth fire stations went to the incident where they found one lady still trapped in her car.

Working alongside paramedics, firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the 40-year-old woman who had suffered injuries to her legs.

Firefighters worked for more than an hour to free the injured lady before she was taken to hospital.
