Portishead Fire Station was officially opened 26 January 1952 and remains operational from that location today. The station has:
- Two fire engines
- Two drones which provide cover to the entire Service area and supports our partner services across the border.
In 2024, Portishead Fire Station attended 617 calls, averaging 51 a month, responding to a variety of fires, road traffic collisions, water rescues, gain access, alarms sounding, supporting other emergency services and covering shortfall on other station grounds.
Drill nights currently take place on a Wednesday, from 19:00-21:00 hours.
